ʿUjb: A Hallmark of the Arrogant

The worldly life is an abode of tests and trials, and the worst of trials are those which cut a servant off from his Lord and his religion. A sensible and wise person should try to identify who his true friends and foes are. Allāh has informed us about an open enemy whose trials are the most difficult for mankind because he is the leading and greatest enemy and the root of everything that harms humankind.
