There is no doubt that Islām encourages every action that strengthens the true spirit of brotherhood1 and nurtures friendship, love, and mutual affection. It promises great reward for those who embody these qualities. At the same time, Islām prohibits anything that causes division, conflict, or discord, and it closes every avenue that could lead to such harm.
